About the FFA
ATTENTION 6TH, 7TH AND 8TH GRADERS!!
Do you enjoy meeting new people, improving yourself, gaining self-confidence, teamwork, learning important skills, and having fun doing it? Well, the Hastings Middle School FFA is for you.
The FFA is a premier leadership organization with an emphasis in Ecology, Forestry, Horticulture, Agriscience, and Agriculture. This unique group prepares you for the future by giving you valuable leadership, motivational, and public speaking skills.
The organization offers many exciting activities that can take you as far as you want them to. Traveling to MSU, Ag. Awareness Day, Lugnuts game, and future college scholarships are all possible. Some activities are leadership contests, the State FFA Convention, spring skills contests, homecoming parade, Christmas parade, and much more.
Please sign up outside Mrs. Carl’s room (E-130) before or after school if you are interested in being a part of this organization. We will be able to meet in person and once you are signed up I will communicate to you information on our Google Classroom site. Listen for announcements and look at information in your hallway or our showcase!!
Dues are $5.00 for the year, which covers the Local Dues. You will love what the FFA has to offer you now and in the future!!!
