MANDATORY SENIOR MEETING
Seniors, don’t forget! Please plan to attend your mandatory Senior Meeting on Wednesday, March 18th, at 2:00 PM here in our Performing Arts Center. We will be going over many important items regarding graduation, scholarship information, as well as passing out Cap & Gown orders at this meeting. This meeting is for senior students only (and includes both virtual and in-person seniors). We look forward to seeing you there! (3/18)
SENIOR REMINDERS
CAP AND GOWN
Graduation will be here before we know it! Reminder to all Seniors that your cap and gown orders need to be completed no later than April 10th. Cap and gown orders take a minimum of four weeks to ship. Please note that pricing and turnaround time will change as we get closer to the big day.
If you have not yet placed your order, please do so as soon as possible to ensure it arrives in time for graduation. If you have any questions or concerns about your cap and gown order, please stop into the office and see Ms. Maurer. (4/10)
SENIOR PHOTOS
Reminder that all toddler photos and senior portraits are due April 2nd! If they are not submitted by then we will be using your school ID photos. Please email them to 31olivia.bucher@hastingsstudents.org.

YEARBOOK
Yearbook Recognition Ads are the perfect way to commemorate achievements and celebrate milestones. Revenue from Recognition Ads helps our school create a better yearbook. Please include your senior's photo and a message for them. If paying by check, please make it out to Hastings High School. If you are paying with cash, please drop off at the high school office in a sealed envelope with your contact information and attention: James Moray, HS advisor. MUSICAL
HHS PRESENTS - FIDDLER ON THE ROOF
The Musical, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, is NEXT week! You should get your tickets for this musical because it's awesome, and it's ONE WEEKEND ONLY (we don't record or livestream it) so you only get 4 chances to see it! Tickets are $11, BUT HHS students can purchase a non-transferable $5 ticket to attend the show! And you can go to more than one show! Come see Mr. Moore in the Choir Room any day after 2nd hour and before the end of the day between now and next week Friday the 13th to get your ticket(s)! Tickets are available at the door and on hastingsmusical.com
Shows are March 12, 13, and 14 at 7, and March 14 at 2.

DUAL ENROLLMENT INTEREST MEETING
- Students interested in hearing more information about Dual Enrollment are invited to attend the Dual Enrollment Interest Meeting during your LUNCH on Tuesday, March 10th. Just grab your lunch and stop down to the Athletic Commons to see Ms. Peg! (3/10)

SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS
- The GRBS Perseverance Scholarship is accepting applications for seniors who have overcome personal challenges and/or hardships. Click here for the application and more information. The deadline is March 9th. (3/9)
- The deadline for D.K. Sprague Endowment Scholarship is March 15. To be eligible, applicants must be a current high school senior in one of the following five counties: Allegan, Barry, Kent, Kalamazoo, or Ottawa, and submit all of the required documentation by email to them. - The Woody Wyngarden Scholarship application is open to seniors pursuing a college degree in either health care or education. For more details regarding eligibility requirements, view the application HERE. The application deadline is April 2. (3/20)
-Applications for the Highpoint Community Bank Educational Scholarship are open to high school seniors going into a post-secondary education program in finance or a business-related field. - The Union Bank Scholarship application is open to graduating seniors pursuing college or trade school education in fields, such as education and healthcare, manufacturing, engineering, culinary arts, skilled trades, construction, architecture, technology and infrastructure, agriculture, environmental sciences, and finance. Applications are available at ubmich.com/scholarship and must be submitted via email to unionbank@ubmich.com no later than Friday, April 10. (3/20)

- The Lakewood Choral Society Scholarship is open to a graduating senior who will be majoring in voice performance or music education at a 4-year accredited college. RESULTS from coaches
Wrestling
Congratulations to Riley Furrow, Sara Baker, Abby Frazer and Alexia Owen who all competed at The State Finals this weekend at Ford Field. Alexia finished her wrestling career in the top 16 in the State in her weight class. Abby won a match making her in the top 12 in the State. Sara placed 8th and Riley placed 5th in the State. Riley and Abby are the first girls from Hastings to ever qualify for the State Finals and Riley is the first ever freshman girl to place! Riley also earned her 40th win of the season this weekend, the first Hastings girl wrestler to ever do so.
Congrats to sophomores Jace Acker and Hunter Sutfin who competed at Ford Field for the state wrestling finals this past weekend. Jace had a good weekend winning a match which put him in the top 12 in his weight class. Hunter finished the weekend on the medal stand with a 6th place finish. This is Hunter's 2nd All-State honors in 2 years. Hunter also hit two school records over the weekend. He set a new school record for takedowns in a season with 184. The previous record was held by Robby Slaughter at 175 in 2023. Hunter also tied the season record for wins with 54! He shares the record with Jason Slaughter from 2015.
